Our Maumelle office has been making beautiful smiles for years, and lots of our patients are surprised to learn that their options surpass traditional braces. If you're looking to skip the brackets and bands, Invisalign might be the solution you've been looking for!
An Invisalign Consultation
Once you've made your initial appointment, you'll visit with Dr. Austin and his expert team to personally design your treatment plan. We'll help you determine whether or not Invisalign is an option for you, and we'll also discuss issues regarding insurance, payment plans, treatment duration, and every other aspect of the process before helping you make this life-changing decision.
We'll take x-rays and perform extensive digital imaging of your teeth to help us create your treatment plan from start to finish. Perhaps the most exciting aspect of this process is that we can provide a virtual representation of what your teeth will look like at the conclusion of your treatment! Once you've made your decision, your custom trays will be created by the dental lab, and you'll be well on your way to achieving the smile of your dreams. Typically, the entire process takes, on average, a year for adults and the duration of traditional braces for teens.
Want to get a jump start on the process? Invisalign offers a free online Smile Assessment, which can help quickly determine if you're a good candidate for this popular alternative to traditional orthodontics. Click HERE to take the quiz!

How Invisalign Works
You will receive your initial set of comfortable, virtually invisible, BPA-free plastic trays to wear for two weeks, which you'll swap out for a new set every two weeks thereafter for the duration of your treatment. These plastic trays, referred to as aligners, work to gently shift your teeth into their desired location, which you'll wear between 20 and 22 painless hours a day. Eventually, you'll begin to see the shift in your teeth between trays, letting you know that your treatment is working. We'll monitor your progress to ensure that everything is working properly and that your aligners are minimally invasive to your lifestyle. The best part? You'll never have to be concerned about hardware of any kind, tightening wires, or any other typical inconveniences that accompany traditional braces.
